Mercure Amsterdam City Hotel

The location of this hotel is great, with easy access to the metro station which takes you into central Amsterdam in just 20 minutes. The room was spacious and tidy, with a comfortable bed and powerful shower. The staff were friendly and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, including delivering a UK adapter to our room and ensuring the football match was on the large TV downstairs.

The only negative aspect was the cleaning service, as our room was not cleaned until late in the afternoon on the day we requested it.

I had a great experience staying in this hotel. The room was clean and well-maintained with a beautiful design. The staff was very helpful and kind, providing me with information about the metro and local attractions. The hotel is conveniently located near the metro station, making it easy to travel to different areas of the city.

Our stay here was peaceful, relaxing base for exploring Amsterdam. The outdoor restaurant served plenty of fabulous food. Excellent service at the restaurant!

It was a comfortable stay, the best I had before. Welcoming, courteous staff who was willing to help.

The lobby of the hotel was stunning and very modern, creating a great first impression. the location of the hotel was perfect, just a short walk to the metro station which made it easy to explore different areas of the city. the staff were friendly and helpful, providing extra sheets and a heater when we were feeling cold.

The room we stayed in was a bit disappointing. It didn't match the pictures on the website and seemed quite dated.

Clean place in sophisticated style with all necessary facilities. My brand-new room was cosy. The buffet breakfast had plenty of options for all tastes. The hotel's setting was suburban.

Outstanding breakfast with variety of options, stylish and fairly clean place. The staff were polite and check-in was fast.

I had a delightful stay at this hotel. The location is also great, only one stop on the metro from the Rai centre. Moreover, I was impressed with the excellent service including room service, dry cleaning, and bicycle hire. The room was clean and modern with fantastic amenities that included complimentary Wi-Fi, a mini-bar, and in-room safe.

I strongly recommend this hotel to families.

I truly enjoyed stuff and food, they where very good. Room was spacious and with very comfy beds. Fast check-out was useful. The hotel was a great base for enjoying a great area, just off the center of Amsterdam, rail station and the main centre.

We had a very enjoyable time and would love to return. The bed was amazing and the restaurant was outdoor and had plenty of food. Food in the buffet breakfast was outstanding🙂

we enjoyed the situation very much. hotel is located on the waterfront and you can get to the tram via a path along the water via a beautiful harbour. hotel is very modern equipped. it is also very clean. fact that it is a little outside does not disturb because of the good connection. (metro, tram, night bus)

exhaust air system in the room is very loud. exhaust air is in the bathroom and cannot be controlled. we have closed the pipe with a towel which has solved the problem. air conditioning in the room is also very loud. fan of the system can be adjusted to zero. we also unplugged the refrigerator. room was then very quiet.

Cleaning. The room was very dusty. There's old carpet and that doesn't help with the cleaning

Super friendly staff, comfy beds, spacious room, immaculate cleaning. Convenient for families with small kids. Reception staff, especially Xachim, very polite. Good location, close to city center.

Great value for money, our family room was spacious and had beautiful views. The hotel staff were helpful and friendly. Good location for exploring Amsterdam and surrounding areas, with easy access to public transportation. Modern amenities provided in the room and breakfast option available.

A problem with the sauna, which had to be turned on by the staff.

You have to walk a bit from the subway, a narrow pedestrian pavement, it's very easy to be hit.

actually no negative point = very quiet location outside the center. 10 min by foot and 20 min by metro to get there! hotel parking place too expensive.

everything was functional and there was no traffic noise despite the fact that the room overlooked the highway. spa and hammam were clean and hours spent there were pleasant.

The proposed shampoos attacked our hair giving it a foamy texture and irritated our face.

the sliding bathroom door, which couldn't be closed, wasn't fitted. the air conditioning needed to be cleaned.

The hotel itself is perfect. A room of sufficient size. A very comfortable bed. Tea and coffee in the room - coffee maker (capsules supplemented), kettle and fridge - a nice convenience, To the subway to 10 minutes walk - metro ticket for the whole stay was sold to us at the hotel reception.

The hotel is ok. . There is a complete lack of bars and shops nearby. It saves the subway and access to the center.

it was very loud at times due to construction or renovation work. breakfast totally overpriced. annoying. one corner in front of the window dirty and full of garbage.

They've been great to us. Good work from the reception team. Especially Ulysses. He advised us on our visits, and helped us, at all times, to have a pleasant stay. The rooms, right. What you'd expect from a hotel of this level.

hammam and sauna are open until 11pm and choice in the room service for dining is the same as in the restaurant.

If we really need to find something to say... There's a missing hot tub or pool...

Bed size, king size! The spacious and functional shower. The provision of a coffee maker and a kettle, as well as fresh drinks. Cleanliness of the room.

The hotel parking, charged 48 euros for 48 hours, is exaggerated when you stay at this hotel! The sliding door separating the bathroom from the room which did not close completely . The meals offered at the hotel are far too expensive
